What is Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous?

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous is a Twelve Step Fellowship of men and women who help each other to stay sober. We offer the same help to anyone who has sex addiction or love addiction or both and wants to do something about it. Since we S.L.A.A.’s are all addicts ourselves, we have a special understanding of each other and the disease. We know what the illness feels like, and we have learned how to recover from it through S.L.A.A's Twelve Steps.

The upcoming Thursday evening SLAA meeting has NOT been cancelled for the Thanksgiving Holiday (Thur, Nov. 22nd, 2018). It will be held, as usual, at the normal place and time.

The Sunday meeting is holding a Post Thanksgiving Pot Luck (PTPL) on Saturday, November 24th, from 2-6pm, at Memorial United Methodist Church (where the Sunday meeting meets). Everyone in SLAA is invited to attend and decompress from the Thanksgiving holiday in the company of other SLAA members for fellowship.

This year, in the true spirit of a Pot Luck, we won't be making a list of who is bringing what. We're gonna trust in our Higher Power! That being said, everything is needed - main dishes, side dishes, drinks, cups, utensils, and napkins. So, whatever strikes your fancy, bring it!

This new, anorexia-focused book study uses the book "Sexual Anorexia" by Patrick Carnes, and is open to both men and women in recovery. Participants need not have a copy of the book to attend, and there is a copy of the book available for purchase at the study. This study is held in the same room as the Monday, 7:30pm-9pm SLAA meeting, which follows.
